Research and Reports
As resources become more stretched, many organisations are struggling to find the right person with the time and skills to write that critical report, business case, guidance or funding bid. Since setting up ZJC Change Management in 2013, I have built up extensive experience in this area drawing on the analytical and research skills I gained from my academic studies. Here are some examples from the last five years:
Bid Writing
- I supported the SW Healthcare GP Federation to develop their ideas for innovative working. I then wrote their successful – £2.8 million – bid to the highly competitive Prime Minister’s Challenge Fund.
Business Cases
- I wrote the formal ‘Pre-Consultation Business Case’ for two hospital reconfiguration programmes (Worcestershire and Oxfordshire); the formal ‘Decision-Making Business Case’ for the Oxfordshire Transformation Programme; and the business case for the new model and pathway for the Northamptonshire STP’s Intermediate Care Project.
Guidance
- I researched and wrote the ‘core’ child protection guidance for a consortium of 14 local authorities in the wider West Midlands area.
General Reports and Presentations
- I drafted documentation to defend Oxfordshire CCG’s proposed changes to maternity services in a judicial review (the Court found in favour of the CCG in December 2017).
- I produced formal presentations and reports for the Northamptonshire STP’s Intermediate Care Project including the submissions to a Peer Review by the East Midlands Clinical Senate and the NHS England Strategic Sense Check.
Research and Analysis
- I undertook social care workforce analysis for Improvement and Efficiency West Midlands and completed a review of their child protection procedures for Milton Keynes Safeguarding Children Board.
Communications
- I have written text for websites, press releases, newsletters and staff briefings.
